Dispute1.jpg

Teenager: Hi Dad, hi Mom, how are you ?

Mother: Hi Robert. I'm fine, and you?

Teenager: Fine, but I want to speak with you.

Father: Have you got a problem?

Teenager: Not exactly. I just want to go to France.

Father: Are you crazy?

Mother: And why?

Teen: I want to improve my French!

Father: No way!

Teen: Please, Dad!

Mother: Maybe it's OK, but we want you to have good marks.

Father: And I want you to be nice.

Teen: I promise you.

Father: Great, so it's OK.

Teen: Oh thank you, Mom and Dad. You're the best!

Groupe 2 : Soizic, Solène, Justine, Teddy, Dylan, Sulyvan, Jordy.

John: I want to speak to you.

Mother: Yes, of course!

John: I want to go to a rave party.

Father: I agree.

Mother: Where is it?

John: It's in Ibiza.

Mother: How long will it last ?

John: It will last three days.

Mother: Is there any alcohol?

John: Yes there is.

Mother: Are there drugs?

John: Yes there are.

Mother: I don't want you to take drugs and alcohol.

John: No, I will not touch drugs. But can I drink a little bit?

Father: Let him do, he's still young!

Mother: But he's only 15!

John: I just want to listen to music and dance.

Mother: It is OK.

John: Thank you!

Groupe 3: Pauline, Ophélie, Eva, Sorenza + 2 autres filles.

Teenager: Mom, I want to go to the night club.

Mother: Yes but with who?

Teenager: With my boyfriend and my best friend.

Father: Hi darling! What's new?

Mother: Sorenza wants to go to the night club.

Father: What?!

Teenager: Please dad...

Father: No way!

Mother: Darling, she's 16 years old;

Father: I don't understand. When I was 16 years old, I didn't hang out with my friends!

Teenager: You're silly and jealous!

Father: I don't want you to hang out with your friends!

Bravo, les élèves ! vous avez bien joué le jeu, pour la plupart, et vos dialogues "tiennent la route".

Good job! I made small scenes as this when I was in college (there are over thirty years)! I loved that! That is a
good way to remember what is exact, the good way to speak.
