It's Christmas time, so it's time to sing Christmas carrols. You sure know some of these songs. Let's start with White Christmas, a classic.
(C'est bientôt Noël, c'est donc le moment de chanter les chants de Noël. Vous connaissez sûrement certaines de ces chansons. Commençons avec "White Christmas", un classique).
Here are the lyrics:
"White Christmas"
I'm dreaming of a white christmas,
just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
to hear sleigh bells in the snow (2x)
May your days be merry and bright,
and may all your christmases be white
I'm dreaming of a white christmas,
with every christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright,
and may all your christmases be white
The classical version, by Frank Sinatra.
Nowadays, pupils find this boring... Ok, let's change !
(De nos jours, les élèves trouvent cette version ennuyeuse. OK, changeons !)
A rockabilly version
A punk version by Stiff Little Fingers
A reggae version by Bob Marley (this one is for Yohann)
A heavy metal version
Robbie Williams trying to sing it, with a senior choir version.
(Robbie Williams, essayant de la chanter avec un chœur de seniors)
Jim Carrey, hilarious as can be, tries to sing it too.
(Jim Carrey, hilarant au possible, essaye aussi de la chanter).
A cartoon version
Now, tell me: which one do you prefer?
